Ad Olam means “to Eternity” — it speaks to our connection with the past and future, and our place as co‑creators of what’s still to come.
Ad Olam – Synagogue Without Walls was founded by Rabbi Hanan Sills z”l, a grandfather of the Jewish Renewal movement, which brings relevance and spirit back into Jewish life through contemporary reinterpretation of traditional teachings and practices. We welcome the wisdom of many traditions, along with the new, living truth expressed through each of us.
Some of us who studied with Hanan over the years invite you to join us in learning, praying, and creating together — to manifest a closer relationship with the eternal, foster healthier relationships, and help create a more harmonious world.
A Grandfather of Jewish Renewal
Rabbi Hanan Sills z”l founded Ad Olam as an outreach and inreach community — a place for Jews and non‑Jews alike to connect with Jewish spirit through mystical, traditional, and musical expression.
His teaching continues to shape how we gather today: with openness, curiosity, and reverence for both the old paths and the ones still being discovered.

Our main gathering each year is the High Holy Days — a traditional time of self‑reflection, renewal, and re‑commitment to our path. We also come together for other holidays and Shabbats throughout the year.
